This story had me hooked from the beginning. It was action packed with a great plotline. The main characters are Michelle and Cappy (aka Jeremy). They’d met six years ago when Michelle was captured and tortured. Cappy was working as a Green Beret and got her freed. Years later, they met again by chance, but the situation wasn’t a good one. Cappy wanted proof that Michelle had nothing to do with the situation she was found in, but even when she couldn’t find proof, he believed she was being truthful. The relationship between the two were genuine and felt real.
The romance with military and detective came together extremely well. I enjoyed the writing and all the characters. The pacing was also on-point. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a romance this good. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but I’m happy that I read it.
Who should read this book: If you enjoy action packed military with romance this one is excellent.

Ooo a couple of questions. Is this part of a series? Is the romance explicit or closed door?

Yes, it’s a series, but I believe you can read them without reading the others. This was the second book in the series. As far as the romance, it’s not explicit, nothing erotica, but not completely closed either.
