Here are some highlights from our trip. It’s food heavy.
On our way there, we had a layover in Charlotte, ND. With a few hours to kill before our fight to Ft. Lauderdale, we grabbed lunch at a place called Carolina Pitt BBQ (at the airport). We tried hush puppies for the first time. They were so good!

A beautiful view on the Celebrity Reflection overlooking Port Everglades. The ship there is a Royal Caribbean.

On the ship, we had lunch at the buffet. The food was actually good compared to the other cruises I’ve been on.

Our cabin. Looks very similar to the Royal Caribbean cabins, except the showers are bigger.

First dinner on the ship. This was a shrimp cocktail. It was okay.

Husband had snail for the first time. He liked it. I’ve had snail before, but this one was amazing. I had it again during the second night’s dinner.

French onion soup. The cheese was amazing.

I had the salmon and husband had the steak. My broccoli was too salty so I had them replace it. They were still pretty salty, but just not as bad as the first ones.

Husband’s steak dish.

For dessert I had sherbet ice cream. I think it was lychee. It was really good. Husband had a caramel cheesecake that he also liked.

After dinner on our first night, we went to see a small performance. It wasn’t too bad. They didn’t have too many shows because this was a short cruise.

This was on our trolley tour through Key West. I was fascinated by the neat looking Wendy’s “restaurant” on the left. There was a Walgreen’s we passed that looked pretty cool too, but I didn’t get my phone out fast enough to take a photo of it. The church on the right is neat too.

Hope you enjoyed the photos. It was truly a lovely time.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
