This story was an absolute delight to read! Sheine comes from a family line gifted with the ability to sense unusual activities. When her mother and a friend suddenly vanish into another world, Sheine is determined to find them.
I enjoyed learning about the family’s history. They are a simple, wholesome family who use their gift for the greater good. It just so happened that the mother and friend disappeared so unexpectedly. I admired Sheine’s urgency in trying to find her mother. Every time she faced a roadblock, she found another way forward.
Who should read this book: If you enjoy detective fantasy, this one is a lot of fun to read. It’s a great family book for the little ones. They would love it.
