The kids are back in school and the weather is changing. The leaves haven’t changed colors yet but they will soon…usually by end of September. My oldest daughter is in her 4th year of university and my youngest daughter is in 11th grade. School actually started for them mid-August, but it was a pretty busy month and went by way too fast.
This summer, the family went on a cruise on the Royal Caribbean Freedom of Seas cruise ship. Then, I went to Wisconsin with one of my sisters to celebrate an uncle’s health. A week ago, husband and I went to a Goo Goo Dolls concert, which was wonderful. We got to see A.O.R. open for them and didn’t realize the band sang “Shattered.” The verse we would always sing to was “Turn this car around…” Great memories, both bands.
I’m been writing, editing, and working on getting another book published. Follow me on The Writing Sparrow (https://thewritingsparrow.wordpress.com/) and I’ll do my best to update. I also have a few book reviews to post, so keep an eye out for those.
Here’s the unboxing. It’s a quick unboxing, but if you’d rather watch just the art journal flip through, go to 2:18.
What have you been up to? I’d love to know. Send me a comment and I’ll follow you. I’m always looking for blogs with life stories.
Enjoy the rest of the summer. Autumn will be upon us in a couple of weeks.
I love new stationary. It fills my heart with joy. Your art is beautiful too.
