If you’ve ever been curious about parking and how it all works, this book will give you excellent insights. The book covers everything from how to find parking to using parking spaces to make money. This is a short book so it shouldn’t take very long to read. It’s also an excellent reference book if you should ever forget that parking is a huge part of our lives.
I think I’ve only had one parking ticket in my life and it was one that I could have easily avoided. This was some twenty years ago. Thinking back, I could have found a way not to pay it. I was in a rush and didn’t want to be late to class. Can’t remember if I woke up late or got stuck in traffic, but I ended parking in the wrong place. I could have appealed this ticket if I had known that it was possible. I also never thought to use a parking space as a paid space for events. I don’t live anywhere near larges parks or event centers, but who knows, maybe someday I’ll move to a place where that’ll be an option. It’s good information for those “just in case” moments.
Overall, I found this book enjoyable. It’s something we do in life but never really take the time to think about why we do it. Battaglia gets to the point and explains everything thoroughly. He even includes a couple of template forms for parking and appealing.
Who should read this book: Anyone curious about car parking and everything having to do with it.
