Yesterday, we celebrated a long time friend’s birthday at Wasabi Sushi Bar. It was a nice and relaxed evening. The sushi was delicious and I tried sukiyaki for the first time.
Sushi boat. This is actually a photo I took of my sister’s order. My husband and I had already ate ours before I remembered I had my camera with me.
Sukiyaki. I was clueless as to how to eat this soup. I didn’t know I was supposed to stir the egg in the warm broth and use it to dip the meat and veggies in it. But, once I got the hang of things, it was actually pretty delicious.
It was a great evening. Thanks, Ger, for inviting us and Happy Birthday, Tag. 🙂
