Digital Layout: One Spring Day

This one was done for a two hour challenge at Scrap Orchard.  Really though, there’s less than an hour to work on it since in the first hour, the instructions are given (about every ten minutes until the hour is up) as to what to do, such as, how many papers, elements, photos, etc. to use, and where to put it.  I normally begin by creating a 12×12, 300 dpi transparent page in Photoshop.  If I know the exact paper I want to use as my background, then I’ll open up that paper as my canvas.  In the last 10 to 15 minutes (and sometimes even the last 3 to 5 minutes!!!), I re-size the layout from 12×12 to about 8×8, save, and upload to the gallery and the forum.  Whew!  Seriously crazy, but….I love the challenge.
