This was my second year using the Hobonichi Weeks as my reading planner. The year before, I used a traveler’s notebook size, which was the perfect size for me, but I had a hard time finding inserts for my notebook cover. After two years in the Weeks, I wanted to go slightly bigger.
On the left is what I’m currently using and on the right is what I’ll be using in 2025, a B6 Slim.

Currently, I’m keeping two notebooks in the weeks cover. The first book is the planner and the second book tracks all the books I read in the year.

The Weeks has a calendar that I don’t use.

This is where I track the days I’m reading.

The monthly calendar tracks books I’ve downloaded, purchased, or received for free.

The weekly section tracks which books I’m reading, additional info on books I’ve downloaded, purchased, or received for free.

This is the second book which tracks all the books I’ve read. In the past, I didn’t include an image of the books I read, but halfway through last year I started to include them.

The 2025 reading planner is going to be a Sterling Ink B6 Slim inside a B6 Slim Sojourner leather cover.

The Sterling Ink planner has a few similarities. The biggest difference is the weekly. Instead of horizontal week on left and blank page on right, this planner is set vertically.

The pencil writing is just me trying out how I’d like to use this section of the planner. Not sure if that’s how I will use it. It really depends on how much time I have. I might use this section to track the days I’m reading a book instead of the section in the image above.

The vertical weekly is setup the same way as my bujo and my writing planner. So, in a way, I’m streamlining. I’m so used to the horizontal left and blank on the right for reading, so hopefully this works out.

At the end of the planner, there are blank pages, just like the Hobonichi Weeks. I’ll be using this section the same way as in the Weeks which was to track library holds, leisure books to read, and list of all books read in the year.

I’ll continue to use the Weeks notebook cover and notebooks in 2025. It’ll house two plain notebooks to track books I’ve read with images.
How do you track the books you’re reading? I’d love to know.
I don’t track my reading. Thanks so much for the idea! Will start.
