This was done in 2013 following a tutorial from ImagineFX magazine. It was my first time matte painting using stock photos and Photoshop brushes. I wasn't very happy with it so I kind of kept it a secret. Screen shots of the steps:

Took this shot for the Capture Your 365 challenge. To my surprise this morning, I learned that my shot made their Photo of the Day on Facebook.
I created this layout using a photo of my sister and the kit, Turning Leaf Apothecary, by Lorie Davison. I've also updated my logo banner with it. To see how I transformed my sister into a fairy and see some closeups, drop by my art blog here.
