Do you remember life before the internet?

Life before the internet was boring most the time, but that didn’t mean it was bad. Being bored was a good thing, but we just didn’t know it at the time. When I look back at my childhood, I remember writing stories and drawing a lot. When there was nothing else to and no money to spend that’s basically all I did.

In my late teens and early 20’s, I worked a lot at multiple jobs. Often, I’d have a full-time job and a part-time job. I was also going to college, so I was left with barely any time to do anything else. A part of me wish I hadn’t worked so much so that I’d have time to do other things, but I’m also glad that I got to work a lot. I learned so much about life and people, and being a writer, this has become extremely helpful.

I do miss the simple life of no internet, but I’m also a huge fan of technology, and couldn’t live without the internet. Mainly because some social media outlets are excellent to communicate with others. And, the internet is a great resource, nowadays, for researching and learning.
