The marigolds I planted in the yard didn't turn out, so I went and bought just a few from Lowe's and planted them in a pot. There were so many different pretty flowers that I just had to take photos of them.
Went to see the Water Lantern Festival in Colorado Springs. It was an enjoyable experience relaxing by the lake and drawing on our lanterns before setting it out onto the water.
Above is a view of the coast when we drove down to Big Sur. We pretty much ended up in the town/camping grounds of Big Sur and didn't get much of the rocky coast so we returned to San Fran. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency. It was an excellent hotel. The kids loved everything... Continue Reading →

This was taken yesterday evening and doesn't really depict what it actually looked like in real life. The sun was red. Somehow in photos, it's yellow with a reddish glow. I just wanted to share how easily it was to look at the sun (and take a photo of it).
Planted some yellow violets and marigolds. The marigolds were from seeds so they're barely peaking out from under the mulch.
Our last snowfall was at the beginning of this month and I took photos of the daffodils in the front yard to share photos of but never got to it.
