We're finally getting some pretty awesome colors this year.
From last week's touch of snow.
Yesterday, the haze moved in. It was peaceful and beautiful, yet in a way it made 9-11 even more melancholy. This morning we were sprinkled with a dusting of snow.

When we had the front lawn landscaped, we had a couple of cistena plum bushes put in. Then we bought a couple more later on and planted those ourselves. Last year the magnolia didn't bloom because of the late snow. She budded but was too weak to bloom. This year, she fought the snow.
A breathtaking surprise this morning. Btw, today marks my 6th year blogging with WP. 🙂
It's five days 'til Christmas and we've just decorated our Christmas tree last night. Husband also decorated the front door. This is the first year at this house that we've put the pillar lights out. Now we just need a sparkly bow in the center.
