All the orchids are blooming at the same time. It's like they are whispering to each other, "Hey, she takes care of us. She loves us. Let's show her we love her too."
April Magnolias and Snow
This was yesterday. ...and this is today. Lots of places are closed today including my girls' dance studio. They have a spring performance coming up and I wonder how they'll ever get the dances done with all the snow days we've been having. Even though it's really beautiful outside, I am ready for the snow... Continue Reading →

This was a busy month with the kids starting school and all but I was able to capture a couple of exciting things. The magnolia tree (bush) bloomed. It normally blooms in the spring, but with the wild weather we've been having, I think the magnolia forgot what season it was. With the wildfires in... Continue Reading →

With husband, she's a little different. She'll wag her tail, jump on him, and want to play with him. Another thing about... Continue Reading →
Orchid 2012
Going through my photos and this one captured my eye from February 2012. It's still going strong these days and blooming throughout each year but it's never bloomed like this again.
A Working Bee
Captured this little guy while photographing flowers.
Hawthorn Flowers
One of the hawthorns in the backyard recently bloomed. The flowers are tiny and pretty but they stink.
