Recitals are here. I can't believe how fast this dance year went by. I'll post up more photos from the rehearsal once it's all done but in the meantime, enjoy this one of my daughter doing her jump. I was told this performance was a last minute decision add-in to this show (there are quite... Continue Reading →
Project Life Week 7
I didn't take very many photos during week 7. It was the week of my daughter's first solo competition and there was just too much excitement and nerves in the air but that wasn't the reason why I wasn't taking photos. These days, I've cut back on photography to add other hobbies to my list.... Continue Reading →
Another Competition Year Ends
My daughter really enjoyed this year's dance competition. She said it went by too quickly. What she missed most was the friendship with her dance group...and the choreographers. The photos below were taken by a professional. I'm beyond proud of the hard work she put into the dances. 🙂
Pointe
Daughter has been dancing for 5 years now and has been most passionate about ballet. She recently was approved for pointe so last week husband and I took her to get her very first pointe shoes. We're very proud her.
Project Life December 2014: The Nutcracker
Both girls danced in The Nutcracker, a musical presented by their dance school, last week. They were amazing as always! Oldest daughter was a flower girl (black and white photo). She's center in the glasses. Youngest daughter as an angel (2nd photo). These are the Project Life layouts.

Remembering Moments
The family vacationed in Seaside and Astoria, Oregon (for daughter's national dance competition) and Victoria, British Columbia (a mini trip in Canada) last week. More photos to come but for now these take my breath away. I took these with my iPhone then edited in VSCO Cam (also available for android users). In the silhouette... Continue Reading →
An Awesome Leap
My daughter finished regional competitions this year. She is very passionate about dance and it shows. Here she is captured (by a professional) doing a leap.
A Few Snaps From the CDBF
Over the weekend, the family went to the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival. It has grown so much over the years. I can't believe it's been 9 years since the Hmong dance group my sister and I created performed there. The food was delicious. They even had funnel cakes, cheese fries, and cotton candy. We know...
