Photo taken in 2011 but I love the feel of it.
DIY Seat Cushion
Husband and I decided to put a seat cushion on the stairs landing. I did some research on Youtube and Pinterest, took notes, then went to buy the items. Bought fabric, batting, and foam at Jo-Anne's. Then went to Lowe's for the plywood. Husband trimmed the plywood to the correct measurements then we put it... Continue Reading →

Father’s Day Gifts
Last Sunday was Father's Day. Got husband these pretty cool cufflinks. My 8-year-old was done with school about a week and a half ago but her class made a Father's Day gift before school ended. It's too cute. 🙂
Growing Herbs
I'm trying my hands at growing herbs again. They seem to be doing pretty well but I think I'm passed re-potting. It's been about three weeks now.

Taken during rehearsal. This was a bittersweet year.

I was told this performance was a last minute decision add-in to this show (there are quite... Continue Reading →
Random Photos from May 2008
I believe this was the last time we visited the Royal Gorge. A couple of years we tried to go but it was late and they were closed. Plus, there had been a fire and burned down the carousel.
Book Review: Divergent
*Spoiler Alert* Don't recommend reading my review if you plan to read the book. I first read, Divergent, by Veronica Roth in late 2013 and totally enjoyed it. I actually read the trilogy back to back and finished them all within three days (I did the same with the Game of Thrones series...read them back... Continue Reading →
