Mother’s Day Wonderfulness

If you celebrate Mother's Day, I hope you had a great one.  I always enjoy going over my mom's house to see my parents and siblings and to catch up on life.  A lot of times, the siblings and I like to talk and debate about politics and entertainment, and at times things can get... Competition

Last week's solo competition was flawless.  I don't usually get teary-eyed when I watch her perform but she had me wiping tears.  She has grown so much but she is still my little girl.  Photos were taken by a pro-photographer.  I purchased them (they were pricey) and cleaned them up a little.

Shaman Bells Water Color and Ink Pen

These Shaman bells are used in Hmong spiritual rituals.  I am not Shaman so I am not familiar with the rituals.  I only know that they are used but I have no idea how and what for.  Another term for the spirit calling is "jingle bells," or in Hmong, Hu Plig (pronounced, who-plee).
