This was taken yesterday evening and doesn't really depict what it actually looked like in real life. The sun was red. Somehow in photos, it's yellow with a reddish glow. I just wanted to share how easily it was to look at the sun (and take a photo of it).
I don't watch the news that much so I wasn't aware there was a pretty bad fire in New Mexico. Planted some yellow violets and marigolds. The marigolds were from seeds so they're barely peaking out from under the mulch.
Our last snowfall was at the beginning of this month and I took photos of the daffodils in the front yard to share photos of but never got to it. Mom picked these cantaloupe from my plot at the community garden. All were orange inside but one. I didn't eat that one because I wasn't sure if it would taste right. I did taste the second smallest one and it tasted like cucumber. I'd love to grow more next year.
Class of 2020 will forever be one of the craziest graduation year of the century. This morning was my daughter's graduation ceremony and I'm still going through the feels.
