The Maverick leather by Chic Sparrow is one of my favorite traveler's notebook cover. It's a water buffalo leather with amazing lightning veins. It's also one of the thicker leathers they carry. The Creme line from Chic Sparrow is their thickest leather. It's a soft and pliable, supple full-grain leather with a decent amount of structure so it's not floppy.
