Last night, I plugged in the Silhouette Portrait and tried it for the first time. It was very easy to use and worked as expected. I'm going to get a lot of use out of this little tool.
A Labybug In The Rain
How brave a ladybug must be! Each drop of rain is big as she. Can you imagine what you'd do, If raindrops fell as big as you? ~Aileen Fisher
The Rain
Last night the rain spoke to me slowly, saying, what joy to come falling out of the brisk cloud, to be happy again in a new way on the earth! That’s what it said as it dropped, smelling of iron, and vanished like a dream of the ocean into the branches and the grass below.... Continue Reading →

Chicken Laab With Home Grown Mint
In late spring I bought a baby mint plant with plans to plant it somewhere in the backyard. I never got to it but continued to water it in hopes that I would do it over the summer. Still never got to it. It grew kind of wildly and I wanted to trim it but... Continue Reading →

The rose bush husband planted last summer was eaten by our puppy, Teddy. She ate everything that was visible. We thought for sure the bush wasn't going to come back but it did! Teddy seems to be leaving it alone now. There's not much in the backyard and I'm not thrilled at taking photos of... Continue Reading →

On the cruise, I had Eggs Benedict for breakfast a couple of times and just really loved it. I've never had it before so I had nothing to compare it to. This is what I had on the cruise (taken with an old Nikon Coolpix). When I got home, I looked for Eggs Benedict and... Continue Reading →
